CHENNAI JAPAN EXPO
The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, and ABK-AOTS DOSOKAI, Tamilnadu Centre, are organizing a one-day CHENNAI JAPAN EXPO on 14th December 2019 at GRT Convention Centre, MARIGOLD HALL from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. providing various Culture & Information on Japan.
The CHENNAI JAPAN EXPO includes Cultural Exhibitions of Japanese Traditional Dolls, Nendo No Tezukuri (handmade clay art), Ikebana (art of flower arrangement), and Bonsai (tray planting).
The EXPO will not only show case exhibits on Japanese culture but also information on Japan about, Travel, Education, Japanese language, and Tourism provided by the participating organizations ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS (ANA), “THE JAPAN FOUNDATION, JAPAN NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION (JNTO)”, and THE UNIVERSITY OF INDIA TOKY OFFICE.
The Chennai Japan Expo will be inaugurated by Ms. Megumi Shimada, Adviser/Researcher, Culture & Information Section, Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai and Mr. M.R. Ranganathan, Chairman, ABK-AOTS Dosokai, Tamilnadu Centre.
The CHENNAI JAPAN EXPO will be providing an opportunity for the people in Chennai to know more about Japanese cultures and information on Japan paving way for further strengthening the mutual understanding and friendly relationship between Japan and India. ENTRY FREE!!
