Sri Krishna Sweets as part of its corporate social responsibility under the banner ‘Indru Pudithai Piranthom’ entertained challenged by organising a magic show for the children in Spastics Society of Tamilnadu, Taramani. Sri Krishna Sweets as set a milestone completing 10,000 programs in a decade.
More than 300 students participated in the program. Spastics Society of Tamilnadu empowers and enables disabled people to reach their full potential through Education, Training and Employment. The show conducted for an hour was hosted by magician Sri Jayaseelan assisted by Sri Loganathan. It was a wholesome entertainment for the children and staff of the society.
Under the banner ‘Iniyathu Iniyathu Ullagam’ Sri Krishna Sweets provided food for senior citizens at Sree Vidhya Senior Citizen Home, Ramapuram. About 75 inmates were provided with variety of dishes for lunch and sweets and snacks for evening session.
Over 20 crore divyanamam of Lord Vishnu is been chanted by children and elders since 2009 for global peace. Sri Krishna Sweets “Mazhalaiyin Mozhiyil Madhavanin Naamangal” is a blend of bhajans and namasankeerthanam by different school students and Mandalis. The valedictory function witnesses participation from over 180 schools in mass chanting of Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam.
The Chennai Group of Vishnu Sahasranama Mandalis and Visva Vishnu Sahasranama Samsthan jointly with Sri Krishna Sweets are organizing Vishnu Sahasranama Mahotsavam with two days of multiple avartis of parayanam and bhajans at Sri Krishnaswamy Kalyana Mandapam, South Boag Road, T. Nagar as annual event.
Also Vishnu Sahsaranama Parayanam is conducted on every Saturday at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur for the welfare of the patients. More than 20 lakh students have participated in Bagavad Gita chanting in association with Chinmaya Mission over a period of two decades.
Sri Krishna Sweets in association with Annapoorna Ammal Foundation during every pradosham have achieved an overwhelming response for printing the pamphlets. More than a crore devotees have written Om Namasivaya Thirumandiram for over 100 crore times till date since 2005.
Sri Krishna Sweets have recognized and honoured over 2200 personalities from various walks of life which include women achievers, Vedic pundits, unsung personalities, teachers, nurses, doctors and so on.
