JBAS College for Women – International Conference
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women conducted an International Symposium on Quality Dimensions of Higher Education: Identify, Evaluate and Sustain was to highlight the various dimensions involved in improving the quality of higher education the 23rd January 2016. .
Dr. Jalees Ahmed Khan Tareen former V.C. of B.S. Abdur Rahman University delivered the inaugural address. Dr. (Mrs.)K. Nirmala Prasad, Member, TamilNadu State Council for Higher Education and DR. M.J. Xavier, Executive Director, V.I.T. Business School, Chennai presented the keynote and Valedictory address. The first technical session was conducted by Mr. Ronald Graham Mc. Luckie, World Institute of Anchor Learning, India on the topic Global Perspectives in Higher Education. Dr. D.N.S. Kumar, Associate Director, Christ University, Bengaluru delivered a lecture on Assessment of Indian Institution with regards to Global Institution. In the post lunch session Dr. Gregory Tuke International Development facilitator, University of Washington, U.A.S. conducted an interactive session on convergence of framework.
