Westland and Hind Yugm are delighted to announce the release of UP 65  by bestselling Hindi author, Nikhil Sachan.

At a book launch event held in Mumbai , director Vishal Bhardwaj unveiled Nikhil’s book – UP 65. The book is dedicated to the city of Benares and BHU, for all that these two places have given to the author. The story revolves around how Nishant, an IIT BHU student finds his love, friends and purpose in his life. The book promises to be a laugh riot and a page turner. It will open a box of memories and will let the readers relive some of their best years of friendship, love, loss and all those emotions associated with college life.

Commenting on the launch of the book, Vishal Bhardwaj said, “I am delighted to be releasing Nikhil’s new novel UP 65. I hail from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh and had set my film Omkara in the state. Nikhil’s story gets the pulse of Benares, its raw energy. There is BHU, there are its students, teachers, their banter, the politics and the rest. The writing is smart, young and refreshing. You should watch out for this in Nikhil’s next books”.

Commenting on his third book launch, Nikhil said – “I am happy that my third book UP 65 is up for launch today. As my first two books have been the best sellers, I wish the same for this one. It’s an amazing feeling to get it launched by Vishal Bhardwaj”
