RKM Students Home:
Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home started in 1905 with just 5 students and now has 650 students studying in its residential institutions viz High School and Polytechnic College. The main aim of the institution is to support and educate orphans and underprivileged students, who have the merit, but not the means to pursue further studies.
RCME is a 30-year-old club in the Rotary International District 3230. With some of Chennai’s eminent citizens as its member it is a trendsetter in terms of the quality and size of the project it undertakes. Starting from the vocational training college and Winners Bakery to the mobile Blood Bank and Cancer Screening bus, RCME has revolutionized the concept of community Service. With President Ananth Kittappa at the helm, once again RCME has gained great satisfaction in his projects.
