VELAMMAL’S  SANGEETHA SANGAMAM – 2017

Mega Gala Program to save our tradition held on 17.02.2017, at VELAMMAL VIDYALAYA, Ayanambakkam, Chennai.  The GUESTS OF HONOURs were Smt.ANURADHA SRIRAM, Playback singer and Mr. SATHISH, Cine Chorographer.

Various vocal & dance performances were showcased on stage.

888 students took part in various cultural performances.

Audio CD was released by Smt. Anuradha Sriram, Playback Singer & Youtube video was launched by Mr. Sathish, Cine Chorographer.

888 Students were honoured by the Chief Guests.

This event was aimed to bring out, train and mould the inherent talents of students as Velammal emphasizes on holistic learning.

Velammal, renowned for its excellence in all round education and discipline was started in the year 1986, inspired by the wisdom of Smt. Velammal, a noble lady and pursued with passion by Shri. M.V.Muthuramalingam, the founder Chairman of Velammal Educational Trust.

VelammalVidyalaya, a CBSE School at Mel Ayanambakkam located in the heart of the city was started seven years back. Its holistic approach to inculcate self confidence in children makes all round learning a part of its curriculum.  In order to enhance inherent talents of children in Art, Music & Dance we celebrate Sangeetha Sangamam.
