November is the best season to enjoy fine arts like vocal music, instrumental music and particularly Dance.The mild temperature, gentle chill breeze, overcast sky and cool & calm atmosphere makes  us to forget Our busy life with unlimited worries to sit & enjoy the Dance.

Today, Saturday – 10-11-2018 , the 10th of November, CCA has arranged a nice Theme based Dance Drama. Dance Guru Smt S.Divyasena’s Divyanjali is presenting “NRITHYA NATAKA MALA” , a Dance Recital with Concept & Choreography by Smt Devasena with a duration of 90 minutes. Nritya Nataka Mala refers to a garland of different classical compositions in various vernaculars including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi, etc., presented with the combination of Sringara and Bhakti bhavas knotted as scintillating rhythmic patterns to enthral the audience with Rasanubhava, the ultimate bliss. A repertoire with a unique choreography of rare compositions including a Jugalbhandi of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi will be presented, followed by dance drama Andal Vaibhavam depicting the life of Andal and her love for Krishna through Pasurams.




On Sunday the 11th of November, Kanagasabai School of Bharatha Natyam,, Presents “THENNADU UDAYA SIVANAY PORTRI”,  a Dance Drama on Lord Shiva which is the Concept & Choreography of Dance Guru Smt Sasirekha Raammohan.  Sasireka has brought together the unique “katha kalakshepam” concept of story telling & Bharatha natyam. She literally takes the audience with her to 8 Shiva Temples in Tamil Nadu, which are dedicated to Shiva in his terrific form as the Destroyer of Evil. The eight temples known as “Atta Veeratta Sthalams” in Kandiyur, Kovalur, Kurukkai, Virkudi, Pariyalur, Adhigai, Kadaiyur & Vazhuvoor. This Dance Drama runs for 90 minutes.
