Breast Cancer Awareness
CAN-STOP (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain), an outreach program of Sundaram Medical Foundation, Dr Rangarajan Memorial Hospital is in the service of creating awareness for the last 17 years- conducting free screening camps, awareness programs throughout the year. It is involved in helping cancer patients and their families by providing counseling, information on cancer, home visits, etc. CAN-STOP is engaged in counseling services in five Government hospitals. PREVENTION OF CANCER THROUGH AWARENESS IS THE FOCUS AREA OF CAN-STOP
COME OCTOBER – THINK PINK
October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, CAN-STOP organized several activities throughout the month of October to raise awareness on the importance of regular breast examination among the general public. To reach maximum number of people, CAN-STOP is conducting two major events in Chennai on –
1st of November 2015 :
ONE WALK ONE HOPE – 7.30 am
THINK PINK – CAR RALLY – 8.30 am
Venue : Corporation ground, South Canal Bank Road, R.A.Puram, Chennai.
Celebrities from various fields are expected to participate in the program.
