Differently-abled makes and sells eco-friendly Thamboolam bags
P. Nithish Kumar (24), a differently-abled person, makes and sells eco-friendly Thamboolam paper bags. He underwent vocational training in National Institute of Open School (NIOS) for the Differently Abled at Taramani. Nithish also makes decorative gift articles, packs and covers with a variety of fluorescent stones. “He is a hard worker and never sits idle, and takes all efforts to improve his business”, said Preetha (Mother).
“We also help him in sourcing orders through well- wishers and friends”, she added. He had earlier been employed in the parcel section in a hotel. Nithish has passed Std. 10 from Spastic Society of Tamil nadu. He is also an ardent Sai devotee.
