“THE LITTLE SOUK FOR CANSTOP”
CANSTOP hosting an exhibition titled “The Little Souk for CANSTOP” on August 25th, 2016 at “Amethyst – The Folly hall” from 10.30am – 7 pm. The Little souk is a daylong event showcasing individual entrepreneurs and their products, with a lineup of designer clothes, food, cosmetics organic food items. The funds raised during the event will be donated towards CANSTOP’s Pioneer project CAN-NEST – a home stay for Cancer affected children and their families during their medical review. CANSTOP supports their stay for free of cost
“Can stop (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain) is a community based, voluntary organization dedicated to Helping people affected with cancer by providing counseling services in a holistic manner to patients, family and friends, conducting awareness programmes and screening camps through education and advocacy.”
CAN-NEST is a free short stay home for pediatric cancer patients and their caregivers.”To provide a comfortable HOME AWAY FROM HOME for families who travel outside of Chennai city to receive and need to comply with regular oncology treatment requirements “.The home aims to offer a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease.
Fund Raising Event – CAN-NEST HOME This is an exclusive fund raising event – an initiative of CANSTOP and the funds raised from the event will benefit the Cancer affected children. Individual and Corporate sponsors are solicited.
Any donation in cash/cheque towards CANSTOP are eligible for 100% Tax Exemptions under section 35AC of Income Tax Act. Cheques shall be drawn in favour of “CAN-STOP-SMF”.
