Sri Krishna Sweets Salute to Mothers – Honoured Celeberaties Mothers.

It was pleasant emotional evening at Music Academy spent by celebrities remembering and recollecting their memories and re-connecting a close bond with their mothers. The programme organised by Sri Krishna Sweets as part of Corporate Social Responsibility brought together and felicitated the mothers of 13 achievers in various fields of defence, legal, medicine, music, sports and others. The mothers looked on proudly and enjoyed every moment as their children spoke at length about their upbringing. This is the seventh edition of Sri Krishna Sweets Salute to Mothers.

Vanitha Mohan mother of Sri Vikram Mohan, Managing Director, Pricol Group, Coimbatore, Smt. Chandra Vinayakaram mother of Sri V. Selva Ganesh, Percussionist, Smt. P. Varalakshmi Devi mother of Ms. P. Madhavi Latha, National Paralympic Swimmer, Smt. Sulochana Natarajan mother of Kalaimamani Dr Ambika Kameshwar, Founder Director, RASA, Smt. Rukmini Viswanathan mother of Dr. V. Mother Tamilselvi of an Army officer, Lieutenant N. Parthiban who was killed in an encounter with militants near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir was received at the gate by the school band from Sri Saradha Matriculation School, T Nagar playing ‘Sarae Jahan Se Accha’ with a girl student leading the group with National Flag and standing ovation from audience for honour, to everyone’s surprise was the highlight of the function.

The students of Vishwa Vidyalaya seated at centre stage gave a very enthralling performance while honouring the guests and the tiny tots from Triplicane carrying garland for felicitation was a treat to watch. Each and every celebrity spoke in praise of their mother and their sacrifice. They spoke on how Mothers were recognized as an important part of our culture and lives.

A mother’s love is unconditional and establishes trust and a firm foundation of emotional intimacy in a child’s life. A successful mother is the ones who never give up despite the struggles they come across. We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort that we learn from Mother.
