9th Deiva Tamil Isai Vizha – 2015

The 9th edition of the “Deiva Tamil Isai Vizha”, the devotional carnatic music concert was held this year at Jawahar Vidyala School Auditorium, Ashok Nagar. Since 2007, Isai Vizha is being conducted year on year by the Chitanya Mahaprabhu Namabhiksha Kendra, under the auspices of well-known Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji.




With an aim to propagate Bhakthi and Tamil Music, Tamil Keertans from Nalayira Divya Prabandam, Thiruvarutpa, Thiruvasagam, Mahakavi Bharathi’s poems etc were performed by famous Musicians. At the final day, “Mathurageetham”, Tamil Songs composed by Muralidhara Swamiji was performed.

A Bhajan Singing competition for youngsters was also conduted during the Isai Vizha. 100s of participants took part in the contest among which 6 best teams were chosen for the finals.
