Chennai based M/s.SA 3D Solutions organized this conference in association with Swaya Cadd Tech, an Autodesk Authorized Training Centre on 3D printing which gets rave reviews from students.
The keenness to know the fast developing 3D technology saw students queuing to participate in a one-day conference held recently at IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai.
At the 3D technology workshop more than 100 students participated from various colleges including Jeppiar, Sathyabama and Meenakshi engineering colleges.
This unique conference organised by SA 3D Solutions, a fast growing 3D technology company, the hands on conference about the various 3D technology presently available was much appreciated by the engineering participants. The students were also given the opportunity to design their own models for producing the designed products which included key chains, miniature buildings and even human models.
The highlight of the conference was giving the students the designing and producing a miniature bust of a student using the hand-held scanner.
